A piece about the evolving environment and how it has shaped our present. Three voices that rarely share a stage: a historic pipe organ, birdsong recorded in the field, and the hum of contemporary data centres. Pitch material comes from sinusoidal analysis of the nature recordings, and the organ mediates between the living forest and the server room. The prelude opened the service at the English Reformed Church in Amsterdam.
